Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) 

Position Overview
Caring Hands Community Services of NH is seeking compassionate, reliable, and mission-driven Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. DSPs play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful engagement for the individuals we serve.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support in daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, mobility, and household tasks

• Support individuals in community participation, social activities, and skill-building opportunities

• Implement individualized service plans, behavior support strategies, and safety protocols

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reports

• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times

• Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings

• Communicate effectively with team members, families, and partnering agencies

• Uphold Caring Hands’ values of professionalism, compassion, and integrity
   

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Experience in human services helpful but not required — training is provided

• Ability to pass background checks and meet state regulatory requirements
