Position Overview:
The Program Manager/House Manager is responsible for the overall management of residential homes, ensuring a high level of care and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing daily activities, coordinating services, managing staff, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. The House Manager will also handle the implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and acting as the primary contact for residents and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Residential Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-maintained environment for all residents.

Manage house staff, including caregivers and maintenance personnel, ensuring effective performance and adherence to care standards.

Coordinate and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring that their needs are met and goals are achieved.
Service Coordination:

Ensure that the needs of residents are met by coordinating with external providers, ensuring access to medical care, appointments, and community resources.

Manage daily activities and oversee the provision of personal care, medication management, and other essential services.

Conduct regular assessments of residents' progress toward goals and adjust care plans as necessary.
Staff Management & Development:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring that all team members meet qualifications and are trained in relevant skills.

Offer ongoing support and training to house staff, ensuring high levels of competency and adherence to operational standards.
Compliance & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of residents' care, including service documentation, incident reports, and compliance with agency standards.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, and Medicaid waiver requirements.

Participate in internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and other compliance activities.
Communication & Collaboration:

Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and external service providers.

Attend team meetings, care coordination sessions, and participate in Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings.

Communicate updates and concerns regarding residents' progress and well-being to leadership and other stakeholders.
Budget & Resource Management:

Manage the budget for the residential operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining a high level of care.

Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure timely ordering and proper stock levels.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in residential operations, program management, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Strong leadership skills, with experience in staff management and development.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Medicaid waiver requirements, health and safety regulations, and relevant care standards.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass background checks and complete required trainings.
